THE BENEFICE OF THE WINTERBORNE VALLEY AND MILTON ABBAS

Robin trained at Trinity Theological College, Bristol, after a career in the Army and commerce. He was ordained in 1986 and has served in Dorset parishes since 1991. He was appointed to the Winterborne Valley and Milton Abbas Benefice in 2001, and is married to Judi. They have two children

Marion was ordained to the diaconate in 1988 and priested in 1994. She served as a non-stipendiary priest in Blandford for 5 years and in 1999 was asked to ‘look after’ the Winterborne valley churches during their interregnum. Robin was appointed in 2001 and Marion is still here. She is married to Colin and they have 5 children and 11 grandchildren.

Jenny trained as a Licensed Lay Minister after retiring from a career with Dorset's Social Services. She was licensed on 3rd October 2009. She has two children, three grandchildren and a great granddaughter, due to be born in November 2009.

Caroline was ordained in St. Mary's Whitechurch in September 2010 after training for the Ministry through STETS. She is licensed to the Benefice as an Associate Curate. She and her husband Jonathan moved to the Winterborne Valley in 2002 with their three children.
