The Salisbury-Sudan Link began in 1972 with the aim of joining the Diocese of Salisbury in fellowship and mutual support with the whole of the Episcopal Church of Sudan.  The Diocese of Salisbury now has strong partnership links with the Sudan.  Regular exchanges take place to the mutual support of both parties

Milton and Blandford Deanery
The Deanery has a particularly strong link with Bishop Francis Loyo, (pictured on the right), of Rokon Diocese in the south of Sudan and to the west of the southern capital, Juba.

Milton and Blandford Deanery Project
The parishes and people of the Deanery are currently supporting a Sudanese student who is studying Commerce at university in Nairobi.  We are aiming to pay all his fees and living expenses for four years.  Mike Yemba Soro, pictured left, has successfully completed one year at university.
